We are looking for a Manager of Commercial Department to join our team.
Wait! Yes, we know you’re not a lawyer! And it’s really unusual, but we’ve set up a Commercial Department in a Law Firm. It doesn’t matter to us whether you know anything about the legal business or not. We are ready to teach you everything, so you have the opportunity to become a unique manager. The procedure consists of five important stages:
- After a detailed review of the CV, we conduct a telephone interview;
- The candidate completes a test task, a prerequisite for which is the preparation of a document. Based on the results, we provide feedback;
- We conduct an interview with the managing partner of the company (there may be two interviews);
- We make a decision to accept the candidate for a probationary period (1 month);
- We provide training and all necessary support during adaptation in the team.
In our experience, such a procedure is quite effective, giving lawyers the opportunity to demonstrate their professional level, complete tasks as close as possible to real cases of our clients, and receive feedback from experts. We start actively interacting with candidates as early as at the stage of completing the test task: we answer questions, agree on deadlines, and identify effective communication channels.
We agree that it takes both your and our time to complete and review the task, but the practical side of the experience is extremely important for us, and you will be able to assess what level of tasks you will face in the workplace. So, this is an important and necessary way of mutual choice!

The direct supervisor will be a Senior Partner of the Practice, who will define the tasks and agree on the deadlines for their completion. In general, we strive to encourage our specialists to plan their work and allocate time for its implementation as independently as possible.
You have a very real chance to achieve the status of a Partner of the practice or a Partner of the company. We will introduce you to the Partership-tracking of ARMADA Law Firm, which specifies the requirements for an employee at each stage of career growth, the conditions and terms of transition to the next level of the corporate structure. It should be noted that early progress to the next level is possible, provided that KPIs are systematically met. In our experience, it takes 1-1.5 years to become a Partner of the Practice.
Yes, there is such an opportunity. If you have a request to expand your area of expertise, we will involve you in new projects from other practices.
Conversely, if we do not have a practice area and you have deep expertise in it, we can implement it and appoint you as a Partner.
We closely monitor the labour market in Ukraine and pay competitive salaries.
- At the interview stage, we discuss with each candidate what their salary will be during the probationary period and beyond. If it happens that we terminate cooperation at this stage at the initiative of the employee or the company, we honour the agreement and pay the money.
- After the probationary period, you receive a stipulated salary (depending on the level of competence and complexity of tasks/projects) and bonuses for meeting KPIs.
We use progressive methods to formulate compensation packages and systematically review salary levels.
We are well aware that there are almost no specialists with experience in selling legal services. The majority of our sales managers do not have a professional legal education. Therefore, when selecting candidates for this position, we first of all need to make sure that you have experience and desire to sell, know the stages of negotiation, and are a sociable and empathetic person.
It is impossible to sell legal services without a thorough knowledge of them. That is why our experts have developed Algorithms that describe each of our services in simple and accessible way, even for non-lawyers. We have also developed detailed Commercial Proposals for our services, which take into account the industry, the needs of our clients and provide a roadmap for cooperation.
The first week of your stay in the company is a training based on a comprehensive programme, during which you study Algorithms, Commercial Offers, undergo training in Sales Technology and take tests. Only after that you start working independently and can always count on consultations, feedback and support from lawyers.
We work in the office full-time from 09:00 to 18:00 from Monday to Friday (lunch break is from 13:00 to 14:00). We observe calendar days off and public holidays. We do not practice work overload and work outside the specified schedule.
