Olesia Hitolendiia – Leading Lawyer of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution, War Damages Recovery and Antitrust Law practices.

  • In spring 2024, participated in the Armada Moot Court organized at the premises of ARMADA Law Firm.
  • In October 2024, took part in the first stage of Armada Moot Court 2024, which brought together 12 teams from leading universities of Ukraine. Together with her team, she won the stage and advanced to the finals of the competition. In the final held on November 29, 2024, the team took second place, demonstrating excellent performance, a high level of preparation, and self-organization.

Olesia’s Recent Experience Includes:

  • Successful court-ordered recovery from the aggressor state in favor of the client—a development company and provider of other construction-related services—of over UAH 37,000,000 in actual damages and lost profit. The litigation team collected the evidentiary base to support all facts that the claimant is required to prove in damages compensation cases, filed reports to law enforcement agencies about the unlawful conduct of the aggressor state, and represented the client’s interests in court.
  • Appealed the decision on the procurement winner selection in the amount of UAH 250,000 before the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. During the process, the tender proposal of the selected winner was analyzed, discrepancies with the tender documentation were identified, and a complaint was prepared. The Complaint Review Commission fully upheld the complaint regarding violations of public procurement legislation.
  • Court protection of the property rights of a client — a market participant in the wholesale trade of IT products — who suffered losses due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, with damages exceeding UAH 72,000,000. The litigation team collected evidence that ensured full satisfaction of the claim, including obtaining confirmation of the client’s property destruction from local authorities and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and provided effective representation of the client’s interests in court.
