Participation in Events, Other Activities:
- Orest participated in an event organized by LegalTalents.Report, a leading think tank specializing in research on the legal services market in Ukraine. The event focused on the annual research of the Ukrainian legal market. A total of 20 representatives of the younger generation of the legal market took part. The conference discussed key trends in the formation of the modern legal market, changes, and challenges.
- Co-organizer of the Armada Moot Court project at ARMADA Law Firm, a competition for young legal professionals.
Recent Experience Includes:
- Advising lifecell on the recognition and enforcement of ICAC decisions in an EU country, as well as on compensation issues. The damage amount exceeds EUR 178,000.
- Representation of a client in the ICC (Switzerland) in a case involving USD 500,000 in claims.
- Legal support for a company engaged in the sale, lease, and maintenance of special equipment in Ukraine regarding the enforcement of a foreign court decision for UAH 500,000,000.
- Handling damage compensation disputes for one of the largest wholesale trade companies in Ukraine.
- Advising Imperial Tobacco on corporate governance issues.
- Resolution of a dispute concerning the invalidation of a contract and the return of assets to the liquidation estate. The dispute amounted to over USD 300,000.
